This impressive thousand year old castle towers over 100m above the Mosel with its unmistakeable contours. It was destroyed by the troops of King Ludwig XIV and was rebuilt in the 19th century in the romantic style. The castle offers an amazing panoramic view, a falconry with exhibition flights, medieval banquet or simply guided tours, with special ghost tours for children.
